Stainless steel anti-skid plate is generally a general term for stainless steel anti-skid plate and acid-resistant steel plate. Its surface is smooth and clean, has high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to acid, alkaline gas, solution and other media corrosion. It is an alloy steel, which is not easy to rust, but it is not rust-free. Stainless steel anti-skid plate refers to a steel plate resistant to corrosion by weak media such as atmosphere, steam, water, and acid-resistant steel plate refers to a steel plate resistant to corrosion by chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt. Stainless steel anti-skid plates have high temperature oxidation resistance, but the oxidation speed will be affected by inherent factors such as exposure environment and product form. Let’s briefly understand the performance of stainless steel anti-skid plates.
1. Corrosion resistance
The stainless steel anti-skid plate has the ability to withstand general corrosion similar to the unstable nickel-chromium alloy 304. Long-term heating in the chromium carbide temperature range may affect alloys 321 and 347 in harsh corrosive media. Mainly used for high temperature applications. High temperature applications require materials to have strong high temperature resistance to prevent intergranular corrosion at lower temperatures.
2. High temperature oxidation resistance
Stainless steel anti-skid plates have high temperature oxidation resistance, but the oxidation speed will be affected by inherent factors such as exposure environment and product form.
3. Physical characteristics
The total heat transfer coefficient of the metal depends on other factors besides the thermal conductivity of the metal. In most cases, the heat dissipation coefficient of the film, the oxide scale of the metal and the surface condition. The stainless steel skid plate can keep the surface clean, so its heat transfer performance is better than other metals with higher thermal conductivity. Stainless steel anti-skid plates have excellent corrosion resistance, bending workability, weldment toughness, and weldment stamping workability. Oxygen and gas flames cannot cut stainless steel anti-skid plates, because stainless steel is not easily oxidized.
The selection of stainless steel anti-skid plate should consider the operating conditions, such as manual or automatic operation, the performance and type of the hot press, and the quality requirements of the hardness and gloss of the material to be pressed. We also need to consider economic calculations. Every time a new stainless steel anti-skid plate is polished, a poor-quality decorative plate needs to be produced.
