1. Machine tool parallelism
If the parallelism of the laser cutting machine is improperly installed, the equipment will be unstable during the laser cutting process, vibration will occur, and the cross section of the processed material will appear jagged. There are two types of vibration in laser cutting. One is the vibration of the equipment itself during cutting, which affects the cutting effect. The second is external equipment problems, such as exhaust fans, water tanks, etc., which are likely to cause equipment vibration.
2. Gear related aspects
When the gear seat slips, it will also cause sawtooth on the processed part.
3. The guide rails are not installed in parallel
Sometimes the Y-direction guide rails are not installed in parallel, and the equipment will be stuck during the processing, so the cutting section of the laser cutting process may also have sawtooth.
4. Improper lens fixation
When the lens is not fixed, the lens will shake when the device is running, and the beam will also vibrate, causing the laser cutting part to appear jagged.
In the process of long-term use of laser cutting, the slider will wear out and there will be foreign matter in the inner ball, which will cause the guide rail to vibrate during the working process, and the problem of sawtooth will appear after processing.
When we see jagged problems during the laser cutting process, we can hold the laser head with our hands to prevent it from shaking. If there is no sawtooth problem after pressing by hand, it may be the problem of the slider; if it still occurs, you need to check the belt, gear and other accessories. If such problems occur in the new laser cutting process, you need to consider whether the installation is improper or the control drive does not match the motor.
